Brittney Mastrangelo

As an Assistant Prosecutor in the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office, Brittney Mastrangelo gained experience and perspective that inform her litigation of sexual abuse claims in civil court.

While serving in the office’s Trial Unit, she handled all aspects of criminal prosecutions and obtained convictions in a wide variety of felony charges. Brittney also spent two years prosecuting cases as a member of the office’s Domestic Violence Unit, where she worked closely with victims and witnesses and developed a keen sense of empathy for those who experience physical, emotional, and psychological abuse.

Prior to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office, Brittney served as a law clerk for the Honorable Barbara J. Buono Stanton, J.S.C., in the New Jersey Superior Court, Passaic Vicinage. Brittney’s experience also includes several judicial internships, and an internship with the IRS Office of Chief Counsel. Brittney is a graduate of Ramapo College of New Jersey and obtained a B.A. in Psychology. She earned her law degree from Brooklyn Law School, where she received an Academic Achievement Award Scholarship, and completed the necessary coursework to obtain a Certificate in Business Law.
