Michael Cross began his legal career in 2012 by joining the Carella, Byrne, Cecchi, Olstein, Brody & Agnello, P.C. Firm as an associate, and in 2018, the Firm named him Partner.
Michael has wide-ranging experience in both federal and state court litigation in diverse subjects, such as complex commercial litigation for both business entities and individual clients, insurance coverage litigation, ERISA and ERISA litigation, environmental law and litigation, and employment law and litigation. Michael’s legal experience also includes counseling clients in collective bargaining negotiations, land use law, and the purchase and lease of commercial property in New Jersey. Michael has been appointed by the New Jersey Superior Court as counsel for an individual/estate with assets totaling over $2 million.
Michael works to arrive at practical, results-oriented solutions for his clients, while thoroughly and aggressively pursuing his clients’ interests.
Prior to joining the Firm, Michael interned for the Hon. Michael A. Petrolle, J.S.C., New Jersey Superior Court. Michael received his law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law. While at Seton Hall Law, Michael worked in the Center for Social Justice Clinic. Michael earned his undergraduate degree from James Madison University with B.A. in Finance.
