Jeffrey A. Cooper

Jeffrey A. Cooper has been practicing law for 30 years and has been with the firm of Carella, Byrne, Cecchi, Olstein, Brody & Agnello since January 1990.  Mr. Cooper has been a Partner of the firm since January 1993 and currently chairs the firm's Bankruptcy and Creditor's Rights Practice.  He has co-authored the New Jersey Section of West Bankruptcy Exemption Manual and speaks regularly at the Annual New Jersey Bankruptcy Bench Bar Conference.  He is the National Chair of the Bankruptcy Section (and a member of the Board of Directors) of the State Capital Group, an international association of law firms. 


Mr. Cooper has served as a master of the New Jersey Bankruptcy Inn of Court and has served as a member of the Merit Selection Panel, which recommends Bankruptcy Court appointees to the Third Circuit Court of Appeals.  He also served as an Assistant Prosecutor in Essex County and was a member of the Fee Arbitration Committee in District VC, Essex County.
